One out of three entrepreneurs in Canada is female. This is not surprising – women attract customers more easily because they empathize with clients. They are humble, passionate, and persistent and handle criticism. Female entrepreneurs are adaptable and enthusiastic, and they never compare. For them, different is good and not scary. Some researchers argue that businesswomen have low-risk taking propensity and are less likely to apply for a loan. At the same time, female entrepreneurs have good managerial and decision making skills and are willing to learn. They offer advice, communicate well, and have a sense of purpose. And they are oriented toward economic gains. On top of all, most women have families and children to look after!
