Google: Past Experience and New Frontiers: Klingon was added as an interface language the same year Yahoo offered to buy Google. This (Klingon) is hardly surprising given the fact that Google maintains the world’s largest network of translators. And then, some features become popular while others are not well perceived by users. But there are exceptions. The “I feel lucky” feature is rarely used but surprisingly people wanted to keep it. Certain behaviors and trends are more predictable, however. Google found that email users fall in 6 general categories and Gmail accommodates them all. What a lucky find!
