Game of Thrones House Flowers – What’s Yours?

June 30, 2014 By Tessa

House Lannister: Marigold
House Stark: Lupine
House Baratheon: Black Eyed Susan
House Targaryen: Snapdragons
House Frey: Iris
House Tyrell: Yellow Rose
House Tully: Lotus
House Arryn: Blue Hydrangea
House Greyjoy: Lily of the Valley
What is your favourite House?

Some flowers are perennial, others are annual, and still others are aquatic perennials. There are garden flowers and exotic and expensive varieties such as the Juliet Rose and the Gold of Kinabalu Orchid. The Juliet Rose costs close to $16 million. The Gold of Kinabalu Orchid is a rare flower that sells for $6,000 per piece. The only place where it can be found is the Malaysian Kinabalu National Park. And there are species that never make it to the flower shop. The Kadupul Flower, for example. It blossoms after midnight and withers a few hours after being picked. You can visit Australia or Sri Lanka for a chance to see it blossoming! Or just watch the Game of Thrones!
