Once a year we get a chance to dress up, act crazy, and stuff our face full of candy. Of course we’re talking about Halloween and its big business. For the first time in a decade, over 70% of Americans will be celebrating Halloween, and for retailers that means nearly $8 Billion in sales. That’s billions of dollars spent on candy, costumes, decorations and cards. For the average consumer that means shelling out approximately $75 each, down from last year’s nearly $80 each, but still a record high number for consumer spending during Halloween.
