New Rules for Images for Better or Worse
Social networks have changed their rules for images and photos. Instagram, Google+, Facebook, Twitter, You Tube, and other social media sites have new rules for profile images, image posts, pin sizes, thumbnails, cover images, and what not. Some social media networks scale photos, others require a square format. Network giants such as Facebook and LinkedIn use crowd-censoring strategies to try eliminate or reduce the amount of videos, photos, and images reported as false. This strategy has been adopted to combat fake stories about free products, great promos, conspiracy theories, celeb deaths – you get it! The new rules aren’t so bad after all.
